28 November 2014 – Known for its annual Christmas Gingerbread House, Orchard Hotel Singapore has taken a 21^st century spin to it this year. Unveiling the Christmas Glass House at the hotel’s light up event yesterday, guests were treated to all the magical trappings of a gingerbread house, minus the edible walls.

“We wanted a modern spin to the classic fairy tale house, which has always fascinated both young and old. Orchard Hotel’s Christmas Glass House definitely draws people to it with its delicious aromas of Christmas treats while spotting a classy see-through façade,” said Mr Riaz Mahmood, General Manager of Orchard Hotel Singapore.

Besides offering an array of festive goodies, children can also take photos of a classic snowman and a modern snowman Olaf, from Disney’s Frozen. Complete with falling “snow” all day long, the Christmas Glass House is truly a visual treat this Christmas season.
